Jon Sigve Bjaanes is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and governance. Currently serving as Manager - Legal and Joint Company Secretary at Atlas Iron Pty Ltd since January 2018, Jon has played a key role in the management of legal affairs for the Australian iron ore company under the Hancock Prospecting Group. Prior to this, Jon held positions as Senior Legal Advisor and Lawyer at Atlas Iron and gained foundational legal experience as a Law Graduate and Paralegal at Mossensons Barristers & Solicitors. Jon also worked as a Senior Paralegal at Endeavour Legal Enterprises. Academically, Jon holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from The Australian National University, and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management from the Governance Institute of Australia.
