Julian Cosson is an experienced resource estimation geologist currently working at Atlas Iron Pty Ltd since May 2022, with prior experience as a resource geologist at CITIC Pacific Mining from September 2018 to June 2022. Julian has a strong background in geostatistics and software configuration, having also worked at WorkPac as a specialist geologist supporting Rio Tinto Iron Ore and as a senior consultant at Maptek, where responsibilities included consulting, training, and product development. Earlier experience includes roles as a mine geologist and GIS analyst, with a focus on geological mapping, data management, and mining supervision. Julian holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Business Administration and Management from IAE de Tours and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) in Geology from the University of Ballarat.
