Dirk Oefner has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dirk started their career with Standard Electrik Lorenz AG in 1985 as a Service Ingenieur. Dirk then joined Heraeus Instruments GmbH in 1990 as a Serviceleiter, where they worked until 1995. From 1995 onwards, Dirk worked at Atlas Material Testing Technology, starting as a Service Manager EIMA and later transitioning to roles such as Sales Manager International Sales and eventually becoming the Sales Director EIMA in 2007.
Dirk Oefner completed their Abitur at Grimmelshausen Gymnasium Gelnhausen from 1974 to 1985. Dirk then pursued their higher education at BA Mannheim and DHBW Mannheim from 1987 to 1990, earning a Diplom Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau.

Typical applications can be found in a variety of industries; automotive, paints and coatings, food and beverage, plastics and polymers, paper and packaging, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, textiles, and solar. Additionally, Atlas offers a global network of commercial accelerated and outdoor testing sites providing weathering test services for all industries.
