Rich Smith

Rich Smith is the Co-Founder and CMO at Atlas MedStaff. Rich has over 15 years of experience in sales and account management. Prior to Atlas MedStaff, Rich was the Senior Client Manager at Medical Solutions where they were responsible for growing the hospital client base for nurse staffing purposes. Rich targeted the Midwest and grew that market from zero to the largest region in the company. In 2010, they were the only Client Manager to win the Medical Solutions Circle of Excellence. From 2007 to 2011, they staffed Kansas and Missouri, with gross revenue topping $10.4 million.

Before Medical Solutions, Rich was the Senior National Account Executive at GiftCertificates.com from January 2002 to December 2004 and Corporate Sales/New Accounts at TD Ameritrade from January 2000 to December 2003. Rich began their career as Department Head at Toys R Us from April 1998 to September 1999.

Rich Smith has 17+ years of experience in the healthcare staffing industry and has a degree in Journalism/Political Science from Cloud County Community College. Rich also attended Concordia High School.

They are on a team with Kurt Chase - VP of Travel Recruitment & Retention, Mike Combs - Director of Business Development, and Stephen Seitner - COO. Their manager is Steve Ryan, President.
