James A. Rodriguez has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. James A. started as the founder and CEO of Avant Garde Event Coordinators in 1993, followed by their role as Director of Alumni Relations in University of St. Thomas (TX) from 1995 to 1999. James A. then served as a Human Resources Recruiter at Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services from 1999 to 2000, and thereafter became the Director of Marketing and Development at Navigant International from 2000 to 2001. In 2001, they joined Crystal Cruises as Director of Sales and remained there until 2003. In the same year, they became one of the founding team members of Oceania Cruises, where they spent 18 years creating and developing several key sales and marketing areas of the business, including National and Key Account Sales, Marketing, Creative Services, eCommerce, Social Media, Partnership and Loyalty Marketing, Database Management, and Corporate Communications. James A. held the position of Executive Vice President of Sales Marketing at Oceania Cruises from 2003 to 2021. James A. has recently been appointed as the President and CEO of Atlas Ocean Voyages from August 2022 onwards.
James A. Rodriguez received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing and Public Relations from the University of St. Thomas in Texas between 1989 and 1993. In addition, they obtained a certification in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online in May 2022 and a certification in Corporate Finance and Financial Management Services from Florida Atlantic University in January 2017.
