Alex Monzó

Alex Monzó has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. In 2022, they joined Atlas Renewable Energy as the Senior VP Global Execution. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they worked at Grupo Prodiel, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer and Deputy General Manager. At Grupo Aldesa from 2015 to 2019, Alex was the Energy Director, responsible for the Energy Business Unit focused on renewable energy projects. Before that, from 2006 to 2014, they worked at Cedinsa Concesionaria as a Project Director, overseeing infrastructure projects. Alex began their career as a Consultant at AudingIntraesa, S.A., specializing in transport engineering from 2004 to 2006.

Alex Monzó has a diverse education history. Alex began their academic journey at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a degree in Civil Engineering from 1997 to 2004. Afterwards, in 2003 and 2004, they attended École des Ponts ParisTech for an unspecified field of study. Later, they enrolled at IESE Business School from 2009 to 2011, earning an MBA with a specialization in Business Administration. In recent years, Alex has attended two executive programs: the first at Esade, where they completed an Intensive Module focused on Mergers and Acquisitions - M&A, and the second at Harvard Business School, where they are currently pursuing an Executive Program concentrating on Alternative Investments.
