Jeannine Acevedo

General Counsel at Atlas Renewable Energy

Jeannine Acevedo began their professional career as an Assistant Project Manager at the Central America Trade Office in Taipei, Taiwan, from 1999 to 2000. Jeannine then worked as a Project Consultant at the Embassy of the Republic of Nicaragua in Taipei from 1998 to 2002. In 2001, they served as a Docent at the National Palace Museum in Taipei and also held a role as a Board Member and Editor at the Taipei International Women's Club.

In 2003, Jeannine interned at the United States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York, specifically in the Civil Division, and later also interned at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, working with Hon. Robert P. Patterson, Jr., Senior District Judge.

In 2005, Jeannine joined White & Case LLP as an Associate, and later as a Partner, focusing on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects in Latin America. Throughout their time at White & Case LLP, they represented sponsors and creditors, including commercial banks, ECAs, and institutional investors, in complex multi-currency and multi-source financings. Jeannine'stenure at White & Case LLP lasted from 2005 until February 2023.

Starting in February 2023, Jeannine will be assuming the role of General Counsel at Atlas Renewable Energy.

Jeannine Acevedo has a diverse education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. Jeannine attended Columbia Law School from 2002 to 2005 and earned a Juris Doctor degree. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Michigan from 1993 to 1997 and obtained two Bachelor of Music degrees. In 2000, they enrolled in the National Taiwan Normal University to study Mandarin Chinese language and culture at the Mandarin Training Center for two years. Before their time in Taiwan, Jeannine also spent two years at Fu Jen Catholic University studying Mandarin Chinese language and culture at the Language Center from 1998 to 2000.
