Jéssica Guimarães

Jéssica Guimarães has a diverse and extensive work experience in different roles and industries. Jéssica is currently working as an Operations Manager at Atlas Renewable Energy, starting in July 2022. Previously, they served as a Engineering Coordinator at Grupo Cortez from November 2020 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing construction projects, managing O&M teams, and ensuring maintenance schedules were followed.

Before joining Grupo Cortez, Jéssica worked as a Professor at both Universidade de Fortaleza - UNIFOR and Universidade Federal do Ceará from 2016 to 2021 and 2016 to 2018, respectively. During their time in academia, they taught and conducted research in their field of expertise.

Prior to their teaching positions, Jéssica gained experience in research and development as a Research and Development Technician at Grupo de Processamento de Energia e Controle - GPEC from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they had internship experience at AMP Serviços e Soluções Elétricas in 2013, where they worked as an intern.

Jéssica began their career as a Student Researcher at the Grupo de Pesquisa em Automação e Robótica - GPAR from 2009 to 2013, honing their research skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Jéssica Guimarães has a strong educational background in electrical engineering. Jéssica obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceara, specializing in Power Electronics, Automation and Control, and Electrical Installations. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Power Electronics and Wind Energy, also at the Federal University of Ceara.

In addition to their academic degrees, Jéssica has obtained several additional certifications. Jéssica has completed a course in ABNT 5419:2015 Lightning Protection from PROFECTUS. Jéssica has also received certification in Hydraulic Controls Automation from the National Service for Industrial Apprenticeship (SENAI). Furthermore, they have acquired proficiency in English through training at the Center for Foreign Languages of Ceara (CLEC). Moreover, they have obtained certifications in PHP - MySQL from the Center for Professional Electronics and Informatics Studies and WordPress from the Edson Queiroz Foundation - University of Fortaleza (UNIFOR). Additionally, Jéssica has certifications in AutoCAD from the Center for Research and Technological Qualification (CPQT), MATLAB, and Printed Circuit Boards from the Federal University of Ceara.
