Juan Luis Cottier Primo

Juan Luis Cottier Primo has a strong background in project development and engineering. Juan Luis currently works at Atlas Renewable Energy as a Project Development Manager since June 2023. Before that, they worked at Thermion for seven years. At Thermion, they held roles in project development and as an E&S and Wind Analyst. Prior to Thermion, they worked at ENIUM as an Engineer of Projects from April 2013 to January 2016. Juan Luis'searliest work experience was at the Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM, where they worked as a research assistant and coordinated various projects related to water desalination and osmosis from September 2009 to December 2012.

Juan Luis Cottier Primo has a solid educational background. Juan Luis obtained an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. After that, they pursued further education and received a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from universidad de leon, completing the program from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their formal degrees, Juan Luis Cottier Primo has also obtained certifications to enhance their professional skills. In June 2022, they became Scrum Fundamentals Certified through SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Moreover, in July 2020, they earned the Procore Certified: Project Manager at Owner (Project Management) certification from Procore Technologies.
