Alper Mat

Alper Mat is an accomplished entrepreneur and investment representative with extensive experience in the technology and finance sectors. As the founder of OAT since 2024, Alper has also served as a partner at Genomize, a leading genetic variant analysis software company, and as an operating partner at ScaleX Ventures, focusing on B2B SaaS and deep-tech ventures. Since 2015, Alper has represented the Italian Republic in Turkey, facilitating over EUR 1 billion in investments. Previous roles include partnership at Cerebro, where efforts in debt financing for digital businesses were made, co-founding Vivense.com, which was acquired for USD 130 million, and serving as vice president of operations at Peak before its acquisition by Zynga for USD 1.8 billion. Alper's professional foundation was built at Bain & Company as a consultant, following a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Koç University.
