Kristi Sue-Ako has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kristi started their career in 2005 as the Finance Director for Friends for James R. "Duke" Aiona, Jr. In 2006, they served as the Chief of Staff for the State of Hawaii, Senator Gordon Trimble, and simultaneously worked as a Campaign Manager for Time for Trimble until 2008. Kristi then joined PwC as a Financial Services Advisory Summer Associate in 2010 and later became a Manager in the Financial Services Advisory Banking and Capital Markets-Risk & Regulatory division until 2015. Following that, they joined Credit Suisse and held several positions, including Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Securitized Products Strategy, and Vice President of Fixed Income Credit Strategy. In 2022, they became the Chief Strategy Officer for Fixed Income Credit at Credit Suisse before moving on to become the Head of Business Strategy at ATLAS SP Partners in 2023.
Kristi Sue-Ako has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business. Kristi also holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy. Additionally, they have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Chinese Studies from Wellesley College.
