Sam Lewis

Sam Lewis is a Senior Software Engineer at ATLAS Space Operations. Sam has over eight years of experience in the engineering field and has worked for several large companies. Sam began their career as an intern at ANSYS, Inc. and then went on to work as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland. After graduation, Sam began working at Honeywell as an Operations Engineer. Sam was responsible for validating ground system software, Operator training, tool development, and general ground system support. Sam left Honeywell after three years and took a position as Deputy Operations Manager at KBRwyle. Sam worked there for three years before taking their current position at ATLAS Space Operations.

Sam Lewis received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Sam Lewis reports to Steve Gaines, Chief Engineer. They are on a team with Brendan Lennon - SATCOM Systems Field Technician, Andrew Dalkos - Principal Systems Engineer, and Ryan Clulo - Freedom Software Engineer.
