Ian Russell

Ian Russell has extensive work experience in the field of technical project management and network technician roles. Ian started their career in the US Navy as a Career Counselor in 1986 and worked in that role until 2007. Ian then joined L-3 Communications as a Network Technician from 2007 to 2009. Ian later worked at Atlas Tech, where they held the positions of Network Technician and Technical Project Manager. As a Network Technician at Atlas Tech, Ian served as the Technical Lead for tier 2/3 service desk in support of CANES and Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS) networks for the US Navy Fleet. This involved providing software and hardware support for Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, as well as Cisco switches and routers. Ian's most recent role at Atlas Tech is as a Technical Project Manager, which they started in November 2019 and is ongoing.

Ian Russell attended the University of Maryland Baltimore from 1992 to 1995, where they earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Computer Studies. Ian later enrolled at Old Dominion University from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems.
