Alex Linger has been working in the IT industry since 2015. From 2015-2016, they held the role of First Line Support Engineer at Unit IT, where they were responsible for Active Directory, Apple Open Directory and G-Suite administration, as well as supporting Windows and Mac platforms and the networks that connect them. Alex also visited client sites for on-site support and used TeamViewer to remotely deal with client issues. From 2016-2020, Alex held the roles of Information Technology Engineer at The Final Step and Systems Engineer/Jr. Systems Engineer at Atlas Technica. At The Final Step, they provided high quality customer service to all clients via phone, email and in-person and assisted in Office 365 administration and troubleshooting, support for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and MS Teams.
Alex Linger has a comprehensive education history. From 2016 to 2018, they completed a Level 4 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence from QA Apprenticeships, focusing on Level 4 Diploma for ICT Professionals – Systems and Principals. Prior to that, they obtained a Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence from Just IT Training, with a focus on Level 3 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles. Alex has also obtained various certifications from Microsoft, AXELOS Global Best Practice, CompTIA, and Exam.
