Danny Ortiz

Danny Ortiz has a background in Information Technology. Danny began their career in 2017 as an Information Technology Consultant at FirstService Residential, where they advised customers on the purchase of networking software, hardware, and other IT supplies. Danny also troubleshot network and systems issues, ranging from Physical layer right through to the application layer, provided network support to WAN and LAN networks, completed hardware implementations, upgrades, and repairs, installed and improved network equipment, assisted in new Wi-Fi setup and configuration, and assisted in network equipment upgrade and configuration. In 2019, Danny moved to Diversified, where they provided tier-1 and 2 support and resolved tickets regarding server, desktop, printer, phone and office equipment issues for 1000+ onsite and remote end users across the US. Danny also configured hardware for new employees, replacement hardware, and new hardware, experienced and performed diagnostics and troubleshooting of system issues, and documented help desk tickets/resolutions. In 2021, Danny joined STIGroup as a Senior Technical Analyst, and in 2022 they began working as a Jr Project Engineer at Atlas Technica.

Danny Ortiz is currently enrolled at William Paterson University of New Jersey and is expected to complete their coursework in Computer and Information Sciences, General in 2023. In 2018 and 2019, they attended Lincoln Tech and studied Information Technology. Danny also holds three certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft (2021), CompTIA Network+ from CompTIA (2019), and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA (2019).
