Wian von Solms

Wian von Solms has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Wian began their career at NWU as a student and then completed an internship in Urban and Regional Planning. Wian worked as a Candidate Town Planner at Arch Town Planners from 2014 to 2017. Wian then joined SBA South Africa as a Manager Site Acquisition, a role they held until 2022. During their time at SBA South Africa, Wian also served as a Business Development Manager from June 2022. Wian joined Atlas Tower Group in 2017 and took on the roles of Site Acquisition Specialist and Property Lead - Western Cape. Wian briefly worked at Airlift Technologies as a Property Acquisition Manager in early 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Business Development Manager at SBA South Africa.

Wian von Solms began their education in 2007 at Volkskool High School Potchefstroom, where they completed their Grade 12 studies in 2009. Wian then continued their education at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning. In 2016 and 2017, Wian attended Stellenbosch Business School, focusing on Project Management. Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Stellenbosch University, specializing in the efficiency of land use development application processes with a case study of Stellenbosch Municipality.
