Cailey Murphy

Cailey Murphy has over 15 years of work experience, with their most recent role being Head of Corporate Communications at both Seaspan Corporation and Atlas Corp. Cailey joined these companies in June 2022 and is currently in this position.

Before that, Cailey worked as the Vice President of Partnerships & External Relations at Canadian LNG Alliance from June 2020 to January 2022.

Prior to their role at Canadian LNG Alliance, Cailey was the Principal at NNW Communications from January 2016 to June 2020.

Cailey also served as the Director of Communications and External Affairs at the Mining Association of BC from September 2013 to December 2015.

From September 2009 to September 2013, Cailey held the position of Director of Communications and Government Relations at the British Columbia Hotel Association. This role involved advocating for the interests of the hotel industry in BC.

In 2009, Cailey worked as a Community and Stakeholder Relations employee at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.

Cailey'swork experience also includes a role as a Research and Communications Assistant for the Government of Canada from October 2007 to October 2008.

Cailey's earliest work experience was as a Canadian Politics Teaching Assistant at Queen's University from September 2006 to August 2007.

Cailey Murphy pursued their Bachelor's degree in Political Science & Philosophy from Simon Fraser University, where they attended from 2002 to 2005. Following this, they went on to obtain their Master's degree in Political Science from Queen's University, attending from 2006 to 2007.
