Femke van Steenberge

Femke Van Steenberge's work experience begins in 2009 when they worked as a Marketing Assistant at MTV Networks for a short period. Femke then moved on to work as an Audience Developer Assistant at BOZAR from October 2009 to March 2010. Next, they worked as a Sales and Marketing Assistant at MQ Europe from November 2010 to June 2011, followed by a role in the Sales & Marketing Department at Vanity Fair Brands from June 2011 to June 2012.

In 2012, Femke joined ADP Streamline as a Central Services Setup Coordinator, responsible for coordinating the implementation of ADP Streamline Central Services for clients. Femke then became an Implementation Coordinator from February 2014 to September 2016, followed by a promotion to Senior Implementation Coordinator from September 2016 to June 2017.

Starting from 2017, Femke joined Elements Global Services and held various roles. Firstly, they worked as a Global Implementation Consultant from June 2017 to January 2021, where they led the project management for global client onboarding and managed projects according to company policies. Femke was then promoted to Senior Implementation Manager from February 2019 to April 2021, where they built and managed the Implementation team and provided support on complex client projects. Lastly, they worked as a Solution Manager EOR from April 2021 to June 2022, overseeing the overall management and development of Elements' flagship EOR solution.

Presently, Femke is employed at Atlas as the Director of Customer Support. In this role, they are responsible for building and scaling the global customer support function and leading day-to-day operations of the team. Femke ensures the establishment and tracking of service metrics and KPIs to provide the expected level of service and value to customers.

Femke Van Steenberge's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at KU Leuven and obtained a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences in 2009. In the same year, they pursued a master's degree in Business/Corporate Communications at KU Leuven, which was completed in 2010. Femke then went on to study at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained a master's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs.

During their studies, in 2008-2009, Femke participated in an exchange program at Universitat Ramon Llull, where they focused on Comunicació y Audiovisual.

In terms of additional certifications, Femke received a certification in Design Thinking for Innovation from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in February 2023. In 2022, they obtained the ITIL Foundation Level certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice and completed certifications in Teamwork skills: communicating effectively in groups from the University of Colorado Boulder and Storytelling and influencing: communicate with impact from Macquarie University. Furthermore, in 2021, Femke received a certification in Learning how to learn: powerful mental tools to help master tough subjects from Deep Teaching Solutions.
