Jorge Leite-Pereira

Jorge Leite-Pereira has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 2022 onwards, they worked as the Entity Compliance Manager for Europe at Atlas. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they served as a Legal and Risk Advisor. In 2019, they worked as a Senior Risk Analysis Consultant at CUF - Hospitais e Clínicas. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at KPMG Global Services (KGS) as a Senior VAT Compliance Analyst for Portugal, Spain, and Italy, and also as a Senior Corporate Intelligence Specialist. Earlier in their career, from 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Paralegal and Attorney at Law at MSP Advogados. Additionally, in 2013 and 2014, they served as a Legal Specialist at AIMMAP, where they were responsible for analyzing and advising on labor legislation, economy and taxation, entrepreneurship development, and internationalization of member companies.

Jorge Leite-Pereira's education history begins with their high school education at Colégio Nossa Senhora do Rosário in Porto, Portugal, from 1997 to 2004. During this time, their field of study focused on economics and scientific humanities.

After completing high school, Jorge pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto. Jorge attended this institution from 2004 to 2009.

Following their Bachelor's degree, Jorge furthered their education by attaining a Master's degree in Public, European and International Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Centro Regional do Porto. Jorge studied at this institution from 2010 to 2012.

Continuing their educational journey, Jorge enrolled at Universidade de Coimbra to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political and Philosophical Sciences. Jorge attended this university from 2012 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Jorge obtained several certifications throughout their career. Jorge became an Attorney at Law through the Ordem dos Advogados Portugueses in May 2016. Jorge also obtained the International Legal English Certificate from Cambridge University in June 2011. Prior to that, they completed the Graduate Entrepreneurship Training Through IT program offered by Hewlett Packard in October 2009. Furthermore, Jorge acquired the First Certificate in English from Cambridge University in July 2004. Lastly, they obtained a certification in Lean 6Sigma Course from Kvalikon Kft, although the specific month and year are unknown.
