Arik Friedman

Arik Friedman is a seasoned data scientist and researcher with extensive experience in privacy aspects of distributed systems and data mining. At Atlassian since August 2015, Arik has progressed from Senior Product Analyst to Senior Principal Data Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher at NICTA, where research focused on privacy-preserving data mining and cryptographic techniques. Arik was also a Program Manager at Microsoft, managing privacy initiatives in online advertising and conducting applied research on malware detection. Additional roles include a lecturer at Technion, a software development intern at Checkpoint, and a project manager in the IDF. Arik holds a PhD in Computer Science from Technion, an MBA in IT management from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Computer Science from Technion.
