Bevan Blackie

Bevan Blackie is the current head of engineering for Jira Shared Experiences at Atlassian. Bevan has held this position since July of 2016. Prior to that, they were the head of development for ansarada from January 2013 to July 2016. Ansarada is a world leading SaaS provider of virtual data rooms designed exclusively for the mergers & acquisitions industry.

Blackie has also worked as a software engineer for Limeboy Software from January 2006 to December 2007 and as a consultant for Towers Watson from January 2007 to December 2010. Bevan then worked as a senior consultant for Datacom from January 2010 to December 2010 before taking on their current role at Atlassian.

Bevan Blackie has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Otago. Bevan is also TOGAF 9 Certified in Enterprise Architecture from The Open Group. In addition, they are a Cisco Certified Network Administrator in Networking from Otago Polytechnic.

They work with Molly Hellerman - Global Head of Innovation Programs, Rahul Malik - Head of Product, and Sonia Parandekar - Head of Engineering, Commerce. Bevan Blackie reports to Rajeev Rajan, CTO.
