Christopher Walz

Christopher Walz is an accomplished professional in the field of cybersecurity, with extensive experience spanning over a decade. At Atlassian from September 2016 to September 2023, Christopher held the positions of Principal Product Security Engineer, Senior Security Engineer, and Security Engineer, focusing on security code reviews and the development of application security automation tools. Prior to Atlassian, Christopher served as Associate Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, providing cybersecurity support for a major US Air Force program and leading a team to design automated vulnerability discovery tests. Christopher's early experience includes a summer internship at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, where contributions included analyzing vulnerability scans and developing a database application.
