Cody Cooper is a data science and engineering leader with extensive experience in marketing and analytics. Currently serving as a Principal Data Scientist (GTM) at Atlassian since 2025, Cody has previously held significant roles including Director of Data Science at The Shipyard and Senior Data Scientist at Shopify. Cody managed the Communication and Psychophysiology Lab at The Ohio State University from 2012 to 2016, leading NSF-funded studies and training research assistants in data practices. With a Master of Arts in Communication from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree from UC Davis, Cody excels in generating insights from complex data and collaborating with teams to enhance workflows.
