Johnson Yuen

Johnson Yuen is a software engineer with extensive experience in developing scalable software solutions across various industries. Currently at Atlassian since November 2021, Johnson focuses on shard orchestration to facilitate large-scale deployments, utilizing technologies such as Kotlin and Graalvm Native Image. Prior roles include software engineering at Canva, where Johnson worked on search and recommendations by scaling machine learning into production using Java and Elasticsearch, and positions at SEEK, Moneyball.com.au, SAT Pty Ltd, and as a founder of Sheepe, which involved comprehensive business and technical planning. Johnson's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from UNSW and degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Sydney, along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The Australian National University.
