Matthew Ware

Matthew Ware has over two decades of experience in engineering and operations, currently serving as the Head of Product Security for Atlassian since April 2016. Ware has held multiple roles within Atlassian, including Senior Product Security Manager and Senior Engineering Manager, focusing on data management platform teams and operational improvements for the Micros platform. Prior experience includes senior operational roles at nearmap.com and Myriad Group AG, where responsibilities included migrating IT systems to AWS and developing configuration management systems. Ware's career began as a Systems Administrator at Silverbrook Research, with earlier roles in desktop support and administrative assistance at Aussie and the University of Sydney, respectively.
