Michael Wilde is the Head of Engineering at Atlassian, a position held since 2024. Previously, Michael served as Vice President of Microsoft Purview Compliance and held multiple engineering management roles at Microsoft. Michael began their career as a Senior Software Developer at Timberline Software from 1999 to 2004. They completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at West Virginia University after studying at Oregon State University. Michael graduated from Stephen Decatur High School in Sigonella, Sicily, in 1994.
