Miranda Byrd

Miranda Byrd is a staff-level data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning, causal inference, and experimentation. Currently a Principal Data Scientist at Atlassian, they previously served as a Senior Data Scientist at DoorDash and held roles at Facebook and Allegiant. Miranda's academic background includes a B.S. in Mathematics (Honors) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and they have also contributed to mathematics education as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida Teaching Center and as a Math Study Center Coordinator. Their expertise encompasses developing responsible AI infrastructure and enhancing algorithmic fairness.
