Patrick Zhang is the VP and Deputy General Counsel at Atlassian, where they lead a team focused on intellectual property, public policy, regulatory affairs, and corporate sustainability. Previously, they served as an attorney specializing in IP litigation at Morrison & Foerster LLP, playing a significant role in a landmark case for Apple against Samsung. Patrick also held leadership positions in IP strategy at Technicolor and TiVo and gained valuable experience in patent prosecution at Ropes & Gray LLP. They have been a board member of the Asian Law Alliance since 2018, advocating for equal access to justice for AAPI communities.
