Peter Obara

Peter Obara is currently the Head of Confluence Integrations Engineering at Atlassian, where they lead the engineering efforts for Confluence's public APIs and developer ecosystem. Since joining Atlassian in 2019, Peter has held various engineering management roles, overseeing multiple teams and significantly improving the performance of APIs. They have been instrumental in introducing Confluence's first public GraphQL endpoints and have modernized existing REST APIs. Peter holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Computer Science from New York University and began their career in quality assurance before transitioning to engineering management.
