Rick Messer

Rick Messer is a Principal Product Designer at Atlassian, currently leading design efforts for Confluence. With experience spanning startups, agencies, and in-house teams, they have held roles such as Lead Product Designer at Atlassian and Senior Experience Designer at Expedia Group, where they contributed to product design for various digital products. Additionally, Rick has been involved in freelance design and consulting, specializing in both native mobile products and design systems, while also founding a company focused on AR and VR experiences for sports training. They earned an Associate's degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institutes in 2007.
