Ryan Backus

Ryan Backus is currently an Engineering Manager at Atlassian, where they focus on leading technical teams. Previously, Ryan served as a Software Development Manager at Amazon from 2019 to 2022 and held the position of Manager at Deloitte Digital from 2014 to 2019. Earlier in their career, Ryan worked as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2008 to 2014. Ryan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Clarkson University and a Master’s degree in Information Management from Syracuse University.
