Sam Katz is a Year 11 data science student and UNSW Co-op Scholar with a strong passion for learning and programming across various languages. Currently serving as a Machine Learning Engineer at Atlassian, Sam has also gained experience as a Data Scientist Intern at the Reserve Bank of Australia and as an AI & Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Optus. Sam is pursuing a Bachelor of Data Science and Decisions at UNSW and has previously achieved a high distinction in Computer Science from the University of Sydney. Additionally, Sam is an avid sailor and enjoys nature through bushwalking, often teaching younger generations about sailing.
