Samson Chen is currently the Head of Product Counsel at Atlassian, a position held since 2025. Prior to this, Samson served in various legal roles, including Product/Commercial Counsel at Google from 2015 to 2025 and Associate at K&L Gates LLP from 2012 to 2014, where they represented companies in merger and acquisition transactions. Samson earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Johns Hopkins University School of Education. Additional educational accomplishments include a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from UCLA.
