Sean Lingren is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in infrastructure, security, and developer experience. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Atlassian since November 2023, after the acquisition of Loom, Sean oversees the Infrastructure, Developer Experience, and Security teams. Prior to Atlassian, Sean held the position of Director at Loom, leading multiple teams responsible for the reliability and security of Loom's products. Notable past roles include Senior Site Reliability Engineer at GitHub, where significant contributions were made to the Service Catalog and the Chaos Engineering team, as well as key positions at Enigma Technologies, Avant, and Kaiser Permanente, focusing on establishing robust production services and infrastructure foundations. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
