Rong Fan

Founder and SAB member at AtlasXomics

Rong Fan has held a variety of roles in academia and the private sector. In 2001, they began as a Graduate Student at UC Berkeley. In 2006, they moved to the California Institute of Technology as a Postdoc Fellow. In 2010, they began at Yale University as an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, and over the next decade they were promoted to Associate Professor, then Professor, and finally Harold Hodgkinson Professor of Biomedical Engineering. In 2014, they co-founded IsoPlexis and served as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). In 2018, they co-founded Singleron Biotechnologies and again served as a member of the SAB. In 2020, they founded AtlasXomics Inc. and served as a member of the SAB. Most recently, in 2021, they began as a Professor of Pathology at Yale University School of Medicine.

Rong Fan received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China, followed by a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006.
