Carlo Bianco

Carlo Bianco is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the transportation sector, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of THEMA S.A. since December 2023. Previously, Carlo held significant positions at ATM - Azienda Trasporti Milanesi, where responsibilities included the Director of Business Development and Operations Director for Automatic Metro Lines, overseeing critical projects such as the development of a Safety Management System and the successful launch of the driverless M5 line. Carlo has also played a prominent role at Metro Service A/S as Deputy Chairman of the Board and Project Director for the Light Rail L3 in Greater Copenhagen, with commercial operations set to commence in 2025. Additional contributions include leadership roles in international metro services, significant positions within industry associations, and a solid educational background in Transport Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
