Sudhir Singamsethi has a diverse work experience in the field of structural engineering. Sudhir started their career as a Structural Engineer at Consoer Townsend Envirodyne (CTE) Engineers and later worked as an Associate Principal at Matrix Engineering, Inc. At Matrix Engineering, they managed a small team of engineers and handled various commercial, industrial, institutional, environmental, and residential projects. Sudhir also specialized in evaluating, rehabilitating, and restoring existing structures. Sudhir has also worked as a Managing Structural Engineer at exp US Services Inc. and as a Vice President of Engineering at ATMI Precast. In their role at ATMI Precast, they oversaw two engineering offices, led quality initiatives, and served as the lead structural engineer on unique projects. Additionally, Sudhir has lectured at the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers (ISPE) and served as a guest lecturer and assistant adjunct professor at the School of Architecture, University of Illinois at Chicago, teaching structural courses to graduate students.

Sudhir Singamsethi completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi between the years 1996 and 2000. Sudhir then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2000 to 2002.

In terms of certifications, Sudhir Singamsethi obtained various credentials throughout their career. Sudhir became a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Wisconsin in December 2005. Additionally, they obtained their Licensed Structural Engineer (S.E.) license from the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in June 2006. Sudhir Singamsethi also obtained certifications such as PCI Level III from the Precast, Prestressed Concrete Institute in August 2017 and an NCEES Record from NCEES in April 2019. Moreover, they completed courses on everyday leadership, namely "Foundations of Everyday Leadership" and "Applications of Everyday Leadership" from Coursera in May and July 2019, respectively.
