Hernan Espinosa has over 10 years of work experience in various roles. In 2012, they began their career as an Assistant Professor at Universidad de La Sabana, where they managed a team of researchers, the project's budget and resources. In 2018, they began working as a PhD Candidate and Seasonal Tutor at RMIT University, where they defined a practice-led research project around the use of recommendation systems and supervised and advised research projects as a lecturer. In 2021, they began working as a Seasonal Lecturer at Universidad Externado de Colombia, where they designed and developed the "Introduction to Coding" course curriculum for the Master of Creative Communication and Emergent Media program.
