James John

James John is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in medical device development and product innovation. Currently serving as the Head of R&D and Product Development at Atmo Biosciences since August 2019, James oversees the development and manufacturing of the Atmo Capsule systems for clinical trials. Prior to this role, James worked as a Principal Consultant at Planet Innovation, leading development programs for point-of-care diagnostics and advanced medical devices. James's earlier experience includes consultancy at The Technology Partnership, where involvement spanned from project pitch to production for medical technologies, and software engineering positions at Motorola and mechanical engineering tasks at Alcoa. James holds a PhD from RMIT University, focusing on MEMS technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from Deakin University.
