Mark Martin

Mark Martin has extensive experience in public affairs and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Vice President of Public Affairs and Vice President of Rates & Regulatory Affairs at Atmos Energy since September 1995. Martin has held various leadership roles on multiple boards, including as a Board Member at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce from 2017 to 2023 and at the Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation from 2016 to 2020, where Martin served as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice Chair, Chair, and Past Chair. Additionally, Martin was a Board Member of the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce from 2013 to 2019, earning recognition as Director of the Year in 2014 and 2015. Academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Eastern Illinois University, completed between 1990 and 1995, along with foundational education at Riverton High School and St. Aloysius Catholic School.
