Benjamin Black

Benjamin Black is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in infrastructure and platform engineering. Currently serving as VP of Infrastructure Platform at Groq since April 2024, Benjamin is also the Co-founder and CEO of riskhorizon, a role held since December 2022. Prior experience includes positions as EVP of Platform Engineering at Palmetto, Co-founder and CTO at Autonomic, and Sr. Director of Internet of Things at Pivotal. Benjamin's career includes significant roles at Microsoft, where contributions as Principal Architect for GNS and O365 were made, and a directorial position in Edge Engineering. Benjamin has also co-founded Boundary, serving as CEO before advising for Opscode, and worked as a Staff Engineer at VMware, showcasing a strong entrepreneurial and engineering background in the tech industry.
