Pekka Järveläinen

Pekka Järveläinen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Pekka is currently the Sales Director for Finland & Europe East at atNorth, where they are responsible for data center services' sales and business growth. Prior to this, they held the position of Sales Director, Finland at atNorth, focusing on data center colocation services. Pekka also served as the Chairman of the Board at Green&Global Ltd. (GNG Consulting), and as a Member and Chairman of the Board at FDCA - Finnish Data Center Association. Pekka has worked as a Partner, Principal Consultant, and Service Producer at Justin, assisting customers in creating digital services. Pekka was the Managing Director, ITSM Consultant, and Trainer at Green&Global Ltd., providing consultation and training for international corporations in green IT, energy management, and IT service management. Pekka also served as the CEO of Aiber Networks, a Finnish-Israeli startup that specializes in high-security cloud platforms. Pekka has experience as a Senior Consultant at Wakaru Partners Oy and Wakaru Oy, specializing in IT service management and business development. Additionally, they worked as a Sales Manager for IT outsourcing services at CGI and as a Corporate Senior Manager and Development Manager at Telia, where they managed broadband technology programs and product management. Pekka has a strong background in sales, business development, and IT service management.

Pekka Järveläinen is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Cybersecurity at the University of Jyväskylä, which they started in 2022 and is expected to complete in 2026. Pekka obtained their Executive MBA in International Business and Marketing from Tampere University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Systems Engineering and Building Services Technology from the same university, studying from 1997 to 2004. In 2000, Pekka also completed a Data Network Administrator Degree (in IT Administration) from Tampere University of Technology. Additionally, they have obtained multiple certifications in various IT-related fields, such as SIAM Foundation, ITIL Managing Professional V4, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and others.
