Senior Software Engineer at Atomi

Maxime Aoustin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 2006 to 2007, Maxime worked as a PHP developer trainee at Universitat Ramon Llull. In 2007, they interned at GL Trade, where they were responsible for installing and providing support for a monitoring system across Asia.

From 2007 to 2011, Maxime worked as a Senior PHP Developer at Found Agency, specializing in online marketing, Pay Per Click (PPC), and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Maxime was proficient in PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS, and Apache.

From 2011 to 2012, Maxime held the position of Senior PHP Developer at Viocorp, a full-service Internet broadcasting company. Maxime built a CMS application using Symfony 2 and Silex.

From 2012 to 2013, Maxime worked as a Software Developer at Sitback Solutions on a contract basis.

In 2013, Maxime co-founded Zumny.com, a social media management system, where they served as the Lead Developer. Maxime managed various responsibilities including designing and setting up an auto-scaling architecture with AWS, managing regular deployments using Continuous Integration (CI), and leading the development of the application backend and frontend.

From 2014 to 2016, Maxime worked at Mi9/ninemsn as a Senior Web Developer TV, where they utilized technologies such as NodeJS, Docker, AWS, GoLang, and ES6.

From 2016 to 2019, Maxime joined Rocket Lab Pty Ltd as the CTO. In this role, they improved processes, optimized internal infrastructure, and conducted R&D on cutting-edge technologies. Maxime also provided pre-sales technical support and trained team members on best practices. The technologies and applications they used included AWS, Serverless, Docker, Node, GraphQL, Micro Services (Lambda), API Gateway, React.js, React Native, and more.

Most recently, from November 2019 to the present, Maxime has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Atomi Education.

Maxime AOUSTIN completed a Master of computer science degree in Telecommunication Network and Programming from ESAIP, which they attended from 2004 to 2007. In 2006, they spent a year at ETSI de Sevilla, where they pursued studies in Computing and Engineering. In 2005, Maxime AOUSTIN also spent a brief period at the University of Reading, where they obtained a 1st degree in Computing.
