Jay Hylander

Jay Hylander has extensive experience in the field of IT systems engineering and administration. Jay began their career as an IS Contractor at Best Buy in 1999 before moving on to work as an IS Consultant at Accenture. In 2000, they joined SuperValu as an IS Contractor and later worked as a Consultant at CompuCom.

In 2004, Jay took on the role of Network Administrator at Aveda, where they were responsible for managing the company's network systems. Jay then joined CSC as a Systems Administrator Senior Professional in 2009, where they focused on backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.

From 2009 to 2018, Jay worked at Merwin Ltc Pharmacy (a CVS Health Company) as a Senior Systems Engineer, overseeing all IT systems for a small to medium-sized business. Jay managed various systems including Windows servers, VMware vSphere, Cisco networking products, and storage devices.

Most recently, Jay joined Arrowhead Engineered Products in 2018 as a Senior Systems Engineer, contributing to the company's systems infrastructure. In 2023, they transitioned to Atomic Data as a Professional Services Engineer III.

Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated expertise in managing IT systems, implementing security measures, and ensuring efficient operations.

Jay Hylander completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems specializing in Networking from Capella University. Jay attended Capella University from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they studied Aeronautical Studies and Computer Science at the University of North Dakota from 1990 to 1995. However, a specific degree name was not mentioned for their time at the University of North Dakota.
