Boyun Wang has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. Boyun started their career as a Summer Intern at General Motors (China) in 2007, where they developed a macro program using Visual Basic Application (VBA) to automate tasks and provided support to the Information Systems and Services department.
After that, Boyun worked as an Engineer Intern at Fallbrook Technologies in 2010, where they gained skills in mechanical design, fast prototyping, and DFMEA technique. Boyun also contributed to the design and testing of bicycle Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) products.
Boyun then co-founded Wonder Panel Inc. in 2010, where they took on a leadership role in the company. Boyun was involved in the development and management of the company's projects.
From 2010 to 2011, Boyun worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan. During this time, they conducted research on real-time control of solute plume in closed conduit flow and performed mechanical and thermal analysis of prismatic Li-ion batteries. Boyun also independently researched and invented a low inertia eddy current motor.
In 2015, Boyun became a Co-Founder of Quantumbots Inc. (US) and Kun Tong Bo Zhi Tech. (Shanghai) Ltd. Boyun was responsible for project management, coordination with suppliers and partners, and establishing collaborations with universities and organizations.
In 2019, Boyun worked as a Technical Consultant at Chipltech Ltd. (Shenzhen Xinying Keji You Xiang Gong Si), where they provided technical expertise in their field.
In 2021, Boyun joined Open Avenues Foundation as a Global Talent Fellow - Electrical Engineer. Here, they worked to educate underrepresented student populations in the U.S. and inspire careers in STEM, business, and entrepreneurship.
From 2021 to 2023, Boyun worked at UnitX as the Lead Hardware Engineer and Senior Mechanical Engineer. Boyun managed a hardware team, planned and executed hardware product life cycles, and motivated the team's design practices.
In 2023, Boyun started working at Atomic Machines as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, utilizing their expertise in the field.

Boyun Wang began their education at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. Boyun then went on to pursue further studies at the University of Michigan. From 2008 to 2010, Boyun obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Continuing their academic journey, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, completing it in 2012.
