Sam Piper

Samuel Piper is currently a Nuclear Engineer at Atomos Space and also holds the position of Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy, where Samuel is currently mobilized in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. With a background in radiological controls, reactor maintenance, and turbine testing, Samuel has demonstrated leadership and technical skills in various roles throughout their career. Samuel is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Michigan, building upon their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
