Chris Tolkien

Chris Tolkien started their career as a Trainee Accountant at Larking & Larking in 1987. Chris then joined Kent Police in 1988 as a Police Constable. In 1994, Chris started working at atomos wealth and held various roles throughout their career, including Deputy Head of Operations & Head of IT, Head of Investment Services & Operations, and currently, they serve as the Head of Wealth Operations. Chris is responsible for all investment operations across the UK group supporting Wealth and Financial planning, managing an outsourced custody model. Chris has a BSc (Hons) in mechanical engineering from Leicester University and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Governance Institute.

Chris Tolkien attended the University of Leicester from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a BSc(Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended William Parker School in Hastings from 1976 to 1984 but did not earn a degree or specialize in a specific field of study.
