Darie Dreptate

Darie Dreptate has extensive work experience in various leadership and technical roles. They currently serve as the Director of Strategy & Product at ATPCO, a position they have held since March 2019. In addition, they are a Co-Organizer of ProductTank NoVA at Mind the Product since December 2019.

Prior to their current roles, Darie served as the Senior Director of Engineering at EAB from July 2017 to March 2019. They also held the position of Senior Director of DevOps at MicroStrategy from March 2016 to July 2017, where they provided strategic leadership and championed transparency and visibility in the organization.

Before that, Darie was the CTO at Cipher | Competitive Strategy & Technology from November 2014 to March 2016, leading the agile transformation of the organization and successfully bringing the Knowledge360 product to market. They also co-founded Partiee, a software development house for start-up web sites, from January 2012 to May 2015.

Darie's earlier experience includes roles such as Product Manager at FieldComm Group, Senior Software Developer at Stellar Technology Solutions, Senior Software Engineer at Softing, and Software Developer at MIND CTI.

Darie Dreptate completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Engineering from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași from 2000 to 2005. Darie has also obtained several additional certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner in September 2015, Analytics Analyst Specialist Certification and Security Analyst Specialist Certification from MicroStrategy in 2016, Certified Scrum@Scale Practitioner from Scrum@Scale in 2018, and PMC Level III from Pragmatic Institute in 2023.
