Raegan Heerema has over 20 years of work experience. Raegan began their career in 2001 as a Page Layout Specialist and Project Manager, Media at Pearson Education. In their role as Project Manager, Media, Raegan managed custom media products, hired, negotiated, and managed vendors, creating dynamic CD-ROMS, DVD's and LMS websites. In 2005, Raegan was promoted to Senior Project Manager at Pearson Education, where they led teams on up to 6 complex programs encompassing up to 20 print and digital projects in each a year. Raegan supervised and coordinated teams consisting of authors, publishers, editors, subject matter experts, permission researchers, media specialists and full-service vendors. In 2016, Raegan moved to KPMG US as the Content Wiki Manager. In 2017, they joined Projects In Knowledge, Inc. as the Project Director and CME Manager, and later moved to Projects in Knowledge Powered by Kaplan as the Program/Project Manager and CME Manager.

Raegan Heerema's education history includes a Dual Bachelor's degree in Communication and Fine Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey, which they obtained between 1996 and 2000. Raegan also attended William Paterson University of New Jersey between 2007 and 2009, studying Education. In 2015, they completed a Project Management Certificate Program at Ramapo College of New Jersey. Additionally, Raegan has obtained certifications from Lynda.com, including "Analyzing Your Website to Improve SEO" and "How to Rock Social Media" in 2016, "Google Drive Essential Training (2013)" in 2015, "Becoming a Triple-Threat Project Manager", "Building an Online Community", "Leading Productive Meetings", "Project Management Fundamentals" and "Leadership Fundamentals" in 2014, and "The Hour of Code" from Code.org.
