Neil Desai

Neil Desai currently serves as Managing Director of Public Equities and Partner at Atreides Ventures since September 2023. Previously, Neil held the position of Portfolio Manager at Putnam Investments and bluescale capital, where significant achievements included leading the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) franchise growth from $20 million to $3 billion. As a founder of the bluescale Global TMT Long/Short Hedge Fund, Neil expanded assets under management from $5 million to $750 million. Other notable experiences include serving as Partner at Crosslink Capital, Analyst at Tudor Investment Corporation, Senior Associate at Thoma Bravo, and Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Neil is also recognized for contributions as a Board Member at Invest in Girls, Inc., promoting financial education for high school girls. Neil earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Duke University, with additional education at Queen Mary University of London.
